Our Story


"Feeling the need to bridge the gap between GPs and gyms and simplify the wealth of health information out there, my experience with modern needs helped me create Repower at Remedy to provide a clear plan for wellbeing."



We provide the space to Rethink, Restore & Recharge body and mind, movement and balance to nurture long term health and wellbeing.


Working from a model where we teach awareness and true ownership of our physical, mindful and emotional systems, listening to the clever but uncomfortable signs and symptoms, and putting time into our body and mind is the key to being robust and resilient.


Knowing that life and achievements are not linear it is essential to prepare ourselves, to the best of our ability, with strength in all our systems being able to tackle whatever comes our way.


Growing up in a world where reliance on others to tell us how to live our lives has changed. We deserve more, and as we become self-aware of the impact that trauma and life experiences have on our wellbeing, we must build our own health and strength strategies with determination and consistency to ensure longevity and happiness. This helps us to tackle obstacles, see opportunities and live a fulfilled life.

 

Along this journey I have developed a deep interest in people and how life experiences affect our mental and physical health. This has led me to an ongoing interest in positive psychology with a passion to encourage self awareness by listening to signs in our own body and mind. The power we have within to inform ourselves of our own needs is truly fascinating. Not only can this information act as a guide to healing, it can also act as a preventative measure to sustain our own mental, physical and emotional health. I am fortunate to have many strings to my bow with deep knowledge of hands-on therapy, exercise therapy and health coaching. I use these skills combined or separate depending on what an individual needs.

 

We thrive in moving your health journey forwards, whatever point you are at, from injury to illness, fitness or sport and all life stages. Working with you we help get your wellbeing on track and provide the education and tools to help you reach and sustain long term health. Our aim is to help you feel at your best, stronger and fulfilled with guided support from our expert teachers, therapists and health coaches.

About Rachael

Repower is led by founder Rachael Davis. Rachael is a Rehabilitation and Exercise Therapist, Clinical Pilates Teacher and a Certified Health Coach. Rachael describes her practice as a supportive place to move forwards, tackle pain and work on stress management, targeting both body and mind. Here you will find out about her modern simplified approach to wellbeing and what makes Rachael and her team synonymous with a teaching style that is engaging, encouraging and effective. Combining years of experience with clientele across all stages of life with in-depth knowledge of the body movements, from improving everyday function, rehabilitation after injury or surgery and support for sports people, Repower at Remedy builds rapport with those attracted to looking after their health.
