Emer O'Leary

Emer started attending Pilates classes when while she was studying Printed Textile Design in college. She fell during one of the workshops and even months after, she felt a lot of discomfort in her back and shoulders. It was her Osteopath that recommended Pilates. To her relief, Emer felt the benefits from her very first class. The appreciation she gained for feeling connected to a strong and healthy body after that first class has never left her. Emer decided to do her Instructor Training in 2008.

Emer has done training with NTC, Stott and Balanced Body in both Mat and Reformer Pilates. She has been with Remedy since it opened, in 2010. She loves working with people to help them understand their own bodies and movement.

Emer now spends her free time doing what she originally studied in college and creates for her own enjoyment, including painting, silk screen printing textile design and photography.

Adele Walsh

Adele's passion for Pilates began back in 2007 while on a journey to heal low back pain. She has always been active but this style of movement challenged her mind-body connection, leaving her feeling light and energised.

Following the birth of her two boys, she found Pilates left her feeling agile, more flexible, confident and connected to her body. Adele's passion for the practice quickly turned into a desire to teach so she could help people find joy in movement and discover what the body is capable of.

In 2020, Adele decided to follow her dream and train as a Body of Arts & Science International Pilates Instructor. She has also undertaken further training and education in Pilates for injuries and pathologies.

Apart from the many health benefits, she loves the challenge Pilates creates for the mind and body. She is motivated by seeing others improve, by the energy created in a class and by hearing someone say how good they feel after practicising.

Caroline Collins

Pilates became a big part of Caroline's life when she was pregnant with her first daughter in 2014.

Her love for this practice led her to complete an Advanced Diploma in Pilates Mat work with the National Training Centre and became a Pilates instructor.

As a mum of three, Caroline cherishes the many benefits of a Pilates practice for both her mind and body. It is her love of the practice that has inspired her to share it with others through teaching.

If Caroline's not on her mat in her spare time, you'll find her in front of her sewing machine making clothes for her family!
